Swimmers aged 12 years plus are invited to participate in our land-based strength and conditioning sessions.

Strength and conditioning, both with and without weights, assists our swimmers to develop greater strength, power and muscle balance, which can help avoid injuries from the repetitive motion of swimming.

The aim of these training sessions is to complement their swimming without leaving them too fatigued to train properly in the pool.

Information on stretching exercises will follow in due course.
