Programme
The full programme will be accessible for download within 24 hours of the meet. No paper copies are available.
Competitor Withdrawals
We do actively manage withdrawals to aid in the smooth running of the meet and to minimise empty lanes, using Swim Meet. Each club will be sent a unique withdrawal link – if a swimmer wishes to withdraw from an event, please do so using this link. Individual entrants should email galas.maidstonesc@gmail.com by Friday 14 November.
On the day, clubs can use their withdrawal link or the QR code which will be available poolside. Withdrawals MUST be made before the start of the session warm up as indicated on the schedule.
There will be no ‘on the day’ entries for this event.
Start Lists & Results
Start lists will be made available just before the start of each session & results will be posted online after each event has been completed.
Technical Officials
We are very grateful to all visiting clubs for providing officials to help with the smooth running of the meet. All clubs will be sent a Swim Meet link so that their officials can sign up to help on the weekend.
Please note that this will be a very busy meet. Swimmers should only bring a small bag to poolside – coin operated lockers (£1) are available in the changing rooms if needed. Swimmers must not bring folding chairs poolside – chairs for coaches/TMs only, please.
Spectators
We have the capacity for around 150 spectators. No standing will be allowed.
The entry fee will be £5.00 per session or £10.00 for the day.
Parking
Parking is free, providing you register your car details on the tablets inside the leisure centre if you are staying longer than 3 hours. Failure to do so will incur a fine.
‘Hot Heat’ Prizes
Random ‘hot heats’ will be announced throughout the meet, where winners of that heat will receive a spot prize.
Food & Drink
The leisure centre café will be open over the weekend between 8.00am and 5.30pm. As well as serving hot and cold drinks, they will have a variety of pre-packaged sandwiches, salad pots, sausage rolls and snacks (crisps, flapjacks, muffins, cookies and ice-creams).
Allergies
Due to swimmers with severe nut allergies, no products containing nuts will be allowed on poolside.
Photography
Participants and spectators are requested to follow the Swim England guidelines for photography and the use of photographs on social media. Your photography should focus on your family member(s) as much as possible and broadcasting images on social media platforms beyond your family group should be avoided. Flash photography is prohibited at all times.
