Level 3 Summer Development Meet

Sunday 30 June 2024

Entries are now closed and we look forward to welcoming you all to our home pool. Thank you for supporting our meet.

The meet has been licenced at Level 3 – 4SE240527 – and will take place at Maidstone Leisure Centre, Mote Park, Maidstone, ME15 7RN.

Please email galas.maidstonesc@gmail.com if you require any further information.

Programme

The full programme will be accessible for download within 24 hours of the meet. No paper copies will be available.

Competitor Withdrawals

We do actively manage withdrawals to aid in the smooth running of the meet and to minimise empty lanes. Withdrawals are being managed using Swim Meet – if a swimmer wishes to withdraw from an event, please email galas.maidstonesc@gmail.com Early notification is always appreciated.

After 10.00am on Saturday 29 June, an active online withdrawal system will operate using Swim Meet. The QR code, which is specific to your club, can be scanned on a smartphone using the camera. This will link you to a withdrawal form and when submitted will be sent automatically to the Registration Desk. Withdrawals MUST be made before the start of the session warm-up as indicated on the schedule.

Technical Officials

Thank you to all who have signed up to assist – your help is greatly appreciated.

Please contact Colin Booth if you have any queries.

Start Lists & Results

Start lists will be made available just before the start of each session & results will be posted online after each event has been completed.

Spectators

Entry will be £3.50 per individual session or £10.00 for the day. Children aged 12 and under will be admitted free.

Parking

Parking is free, providing you register your car details on the machines inside the leisure centre if you are staying longer than 3 hours. Failure to do so will incur a fine.

Due to another event taking place at Maidstone Leisure Centre, we are expecting parking to be busy for swimmers arriving for sessions 2 and 3. There is an overflow car park towards the rear of the leisure centre; and alternative (pay and display) parking is available in Mote Park.

Food & Drink

The leisure centre café will be open between 10.00am and 7.00pm. As well as serving hot and cold drinks, they will have a variety of pre-packaged sandwiches, salad pots, hot pastries, sausage rolls and snacks (crisps, flapjacks, muffins, cookies and ice-creams).

Hot Heat Prizes

Random ‘hot heats’ will be announced throughout the meet, where winners of that heat will receive a spot prize.
