Level 3 Summer Development Meet

The meet has been licenced at Level 3 – 3SE220980 – and will take place at Maidstone Leisure Centre, Mote Park, Maidstone, ME15 7RN.

The full programme will be accessible for download within 24 hours of the meet. No paper copies will be available.

Competitor Withdrawals

If you are having to pull out of our meet prior to the weekend, your withdrawal should be notified to no later than 10.00am on Saturday 25 June.

An active online WITHDRAWAL system will operate after this time and throughout the meet. The QR code can be scanned on a smart phone using the camera. This will link you to a withdrawal form and when submitted will be sent automatically to the Registration Desk. Withdrawals MUST be made before the start of the session warm up as indicated on the schedule.

Start Lists & Results

Start lists will be made available just before the start of each session & results will be posted online after each event has been completed.

Technical Officials

The allocations for all sessions have now been published and sent to all officials involved.

With the removal of COVID restrictions, the use of face coverings is a personal choice. Hand sanitiser will be available at our Admissions Desk.

Any swimmer who has recently recovered from COVID must have completed appropriate swimming training time to allow for a safe return to competition. Please do NOT attend if you feel unwell.


The entry fee is £3.50 per session and will be CASH payment only.

The number of spectators allowed in the gallery is limited to 150 per session. No standing will be allowed.


Parking is free, providing you register your car details on the machines inside the leisure centre if you are staying longer than 3 hours. Failure to do so will incur a fine.

Food & Drink

The leisure centre café will be open from 9.00am to 6.00pm. As well as serving hot and cold drinks, they will have a variety of pre-packaged sandwiches, salad pots, hot pastries, sausage rolls and snacks (crisps, flapjacks, muffins, cookies and ice-creams). They have also catered for those who are vegan.


Neil Stanley – Neil Stanley Images – is a sports photographer based in Kent. He will be with us throughout the meet capturing the swimmers in action. Following the meet you will be able to access and view these images in password protected galleries on his website.

Participants and spectators are requested to follow the Swim England guidelines for photography and the use of photographs on social media. Your photography should focus on your family member(s) as much as possible and broadcasting images on social media platforms beyond your family group should be avoided. Flash photography is prohibited at all times.

You must register your intention to use an image-capturing device at the main leisure centre reception each day, where you will be provided with a distinctive wrist band.

Image capturing devices must not be used in the changing area at any time for the purpose of taking photos.

‘Hot Heat’ Prizes

Random ‘hot heats’ will be announced throughout the meet, where winners of that heat will receive a spot prize.
