June 2022

The government removed remaining domestic restrictions earlier this year.

There are still steps you can take to reduce the risk of catching and spreading COVID given the increasing number of cases in the UK we’ve seen in the last few weeks.

We would still encourage you to be considerate of fellow club members, parents, carers and other users of our training venues who may still be taking a more cautious approach.

Please remember the importance of continued good hygiene and sanitation.

Please stay at home and avoid contact with other people if you –

have any symptoms of COVID and have a high temperature, or you do not feel well enough to go to work or do your normal activities
have tested positive for COVID – this means it is very likely you have the virus

You can go back to your normal activities if you –

feel well enough to do so
do not have a high temperature

If your swimmer tests positive for COVID, they should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days. This starts from the day after they did the test. Children and young people tend to be infectious to others for less time than adults. If they are well and do not have a temperature after 3 days, they may return to normal activities as there is a much lower risk that they will pass on COVID to others.

Parents of all swimmers, regardless of age, must be fully contactable at all times and have updated their emergency contact details on Swim Club Manager.
