Continued Coronavirus Guidance
Further to our recent email, we wanted to reassure you that that we are continuously monitoring the official recommendations relating to the Coronavirus with the interests of all our club members, coaches, volunteers and parents at heart.
At this stage, we are not aware of any cases within the club and have no cause to alter any of our current arrangements. However, it is important that we all ensure that we follow the most up to date guidance in light of the Government’s latest ‘Stay at Home’ announcement yesterday, primarily relating to those showing symptoms of a persistent cough and/or a high temperature.
We would ask that should you or your child have symptoms that fall under these latest recommendations, that you do not attend swimming and inform us as soon as possible. Please note as a precautionary method, our coaches may also ask your swimmer to leave a session should these symptoms appear whilst they are at the pool. For squad swimmers, absences that occur whilst following these guidelines will not affect their attendance.
At this stage none of our upcoming events or competitions have been cancelled or amended, however, we continue to be updated by both Swim England and South East Swimming. The latest releases of which can be found below.
Thank you for your continued diligence.
