Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our 2020 trial nights detailed below are on hold.
If you would like your swimmer to be added to our waiting list for our competitive squads or Learn to Swim trials, then please contact our Head of Learn to Swim or Head Coach via the links below.
They will respond in due course.
Maidstone Swimming Club welcome new members and are always on the search for tomorrow’s future stars, but we also aim to promote water confidence and aquatic skills for personal safety and to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
We hold regular trial nights for potential new recruits for both our Learn to Swim section and Competitive squads. The dates for 2020 are listed below:

During the trial session a coach and/or teacher will assess your abilities and you can get an idea of what the club has to offer.
There is no charge for the assessment. If you like what you see, we will then establish if we have a space for you within your age group and ability or relevant squad and appropriate training lane.
Learn to Swim
Due to increased capacity, we now have spaces in our Learn to Swim Section of the club.
We provide lessons to children from the ages of 4 and have also introduced adult beginner and improver lessons.
Our trial nights normally take place on a Sunday by the boom pool for swimmers aged 4 to 10 years.
Please contact our Head of Learn to Swim via the link below if you require further information.
Competitive Squad Trials
Is your son or daughter an active swimmer and looking to progress with a club that is going places?
Are you a competitive swimmer within another club, perhaps moving into the Maidstone area, tired of your existing set-up and on the search for a fun, community spirited, successful team?
For entry into our competitive squads, swimmers must have all four legal strokes.
Without these strokes at the required standard, assessment will be for the Learn to Swim section of the club only.
If you are already a club swimmer, please emal our Head Coach directly via the link below.
