Wavepower 2020-23: Swim England Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedures
Maidstone Swimming Club shall, in accordance with Swim England Laws, adopt the Swim England Child Protection Procedures and shall recognise that the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility and that all children and young people have a right to have fun, be safe and be protected from harm.
Members of the club shall, in accordance with Swim England Laws, comply with the Swim England Child Protection Policy and Procedures.

The Sport and Recreation Alliance was commissioned by Sport England to lead a project to help support the sport sector meet the legislative requirements of GDPR. The following advice, privacy notices and guidance notes have been produced. By publishing on our website, the Committee of Maidstone Swimming Club adopt these guidelines and procedures. These were implemented with effect from May 2018 and will remain in force until such time as the Committee receive confirmation from Swim England or the Sport and Recreation Alliance that amendment or withdrawal is required.
